Hello!

I’m Elle Belvedere, an actor and Theatre artist from Toronto. I recently graduated from Concordia University in Montreal, completing my bachelor’s degree in Acting for the Theatre. Theatre is my passion. I thrive in collaborative environments where everyone’s voice is heard and creativity flows freely.

As a part of the Mary Overlie Viewpoints Club, I’ve learned the power of co-led exploration and creating work without hierarchy. At Concordia I played an active role in CAST, Concordia’s Association of Students in Theatre, on the events committee organizing and hosting gatherings and formals that brought our community together beyond the stage.

Alongside hitting a milestone in my career performing in Concordia’s Mainstage production Oresteia. My work is centred around feminist theatre that challenges traditional power structures and centers the voices and stories of women and marginalized communities. Through breath, movement, and collaborative creation, I aim to make space for vulnerability, resistance, and joy in performance. In 2024, I was part of Imago Theatre’s ARTISTA Mentorship program, ARTISTA connected me with inspiring artists and allowed me to write my first ever memoir piece that opened our final performance. I bring a positive, dedicated energy to every project and thrive on having fun. On stage and in rehearsal, I create an environment that allows me to do my best and helps me bring out my strongest performance.

My Interests

  • I believe in theatre’s power to build community and spark change. It’s where stories create empathy, challenge injustice, and invite us to imagine better futures. I want to be part of work that not only entertains but moves people and moves the world forward.

From classical to modern plays, I love working on stage productions that challenge me and celebrate storytelling through strong ensemble work.

  • As an actor and person, I value creativity, collaboration, and care. I thrive in positive, hardworking environments where fun and creativity are encouraged. I’m passionate about exploration and curiosity. Integrity is important to me, so I choose projects that align with my value system. Care in performance is key, as I’m committed to mindful and responsible choices in the art I contribute to and create.

I thrive in collaborative environments where exploration and curiosity drive the creative process. Whether it’s improv, comedy, devised theatre, or scripted work, I’m drawn to projects that are dynamic and inspiring.

  • Outside of theatre, I’m passionate about love, exploration, and community. I love staying active with hobbies like spending time in nature, trying new recipes, and bonding with friends and family.

I also value giving back through volunteering. Above all, my family means the world to me. Their love and support inspire me every day, and I’m grateful for the strong connections we share. I strive to live a life full of meaningful experiences, always seeking growth, connection, and positivity.
